Thank you to all the registered voters in Sauble Township. In the last 3 elections Sauble Township has had the highest voter turnout in Lake County. What follows is information that will affect the voting process in 2024.

If you are a registered voter in Sauble Township you are eligible to vote in the following Elections:
PRIMARY ELECTION - Tuesday, February 27, 2024
GENERAL ELECTION - Tuesday, November 5, 2024
The Polls are open from 7 AM - 8 PM. You have the option of voting in person or by absentee ballot.
PROPOSAL 2022-2 - Passed in 2023 which affects 2024 Elections:
MI voters passed the above proposal which means additional options for voting.
YOU CAN ALWAYS VOTE ABSENTEE OR IN PERSON
2024 Presidential Primary – Permanent Ballot List
SAUBLE TOWNSHIP HAS A SECURE AV BALLOT BOX. Its location is on the landing before the township entrance.

- Early Voting (EV) In Person now applies to ALL Statewide and Federal Elections.
- EV will be held 9 consecutive days before the election.
- From the 2nd Saturday to the Sunday before election day.
- 8 consecutive hours each day.
- Sauble Township, along with 12 other townships, has entered into an agreement with the Lake County Clerk Office to conduct the 9 days of early voting.
- Early Voting will be held at the Lake County Clerk’s office in Baldwin, MI
- 800 Tenth St. Baldwin (Courthouse)
- 8 A.M -4 P.M. each day
- Voters can now join the permanent Absentee Voter Ballot List (optional).
- This choice can be found on the MI AV Ballot application.
YOU CAN ALWAYS VOTE ABSENTEE OR IN PERSON
2024 Presidential Primary – Permanent Ballot List
- A Presidential Ballot Selection form with prepaid return postage will be sent.
- Voters on the Permanent Ballot List MUST indicate which party ballot they want to receive.
- Any voter who leaves the state and is on the permanent ballot list, please contact me, Gail Raad, with your address either by phone (231-266-8384) or email saubleclerk@gmail.com
