ABOUT US:

Sauble Township is a General Law township in Lake County, Michigan.  Sauble Township is governed by an elected Township Board consisting of a Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and two Trustees.  The Clerk and Treasurer each have an appointed Deputy. The Supervisor may choose to appoint a Deputy.  

​Sauble Township is a no longer a Zoned Community, effective September 26, 2025. 

The Planning Commission consists of five residents appointed by the township board, which includes a Board Trustee (ex officio member) and may consist of one non-resident.   

Sauble Township's Board of Review has three residents appointed by the township board.  The Supervisor serves as the Secretary of the Board of Review.
