ABOUT US:

Sauble Township is a General Law township in Lake County, Michigan.  Sauble Township is governed by an elected Township Board consisting of a Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and two Trustees.  The Clerk and Treasurer each have an appointed Deputy.

​Sauble Township is a Zoned Community.  Our current Zoning Ordinance is enforced by a Land Use Administrator.  The Zoning Ordinance is available at the township office.  The Planning Commission consists of five residents appointed by the township board, that includes a Board Trustee (ex-officio member).  The Zoning Board of Appeals has five members appointed by the township board, that includes a Board Trustee (ex-officio member).   Sauble Township's Board of Review has three residents appointed by the township board.  The Supervisor serves as the Secretary of the Board of Review.
